We are hiring for a friendly receptionist for 2 x 10 hours (20 hours) & 4 x 5 hours (20 hours)
Main Responsibilities
- To provide first point of contact for all enquiries, providing clear and knowledgeable information of the facilities and services with an efficient and friendly approach
- To provide administrative support for the club and coordinate the daily bookings, taking monies and reconciling the daily takings.
Specific Duties
- To take all bookings(phone,email and in person) for the clubs facilities, ensuring accurate book keeping and time/space management at all times.
- To receive payment and issue receipts for the use of clubs facilities.
- To co-ordinate all club users in relation to the use of the facilities.
- To carry out daily reconciliation and handle cash ensuring all monies are recorded accurately
- To answer all enquires relating to the club promptly, ensuring the highest of standards in customer services at all times.
- To deal with all administrative duties relating to the club.
- Provide a positive, committed and dynamic approach in all aspects of the post holders duties and responsibilities.
- To promote special offers and sales promotions to users
- Maintain contact with other staff via two-way radio as necessary in order to maintain adequate service
Skills and Attributes
- Effective and coherent communication skills both verbal and written
- Good customer service skills is essential and you should be able to demonstrate high levels of organisation and attention to detail
- Effectively dealing with complaints or problems and escalating to management whenever appropriate
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Interest in digital marketing
Essential Criteria
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent including English & Maths
- Previous experience of customer facing role
- Computer literate and competent at using Microsoft Word/Excel/Office
- The post holder will be required to work on a shift system which includes weekdays, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Previous reception experience would be an advantageous
- Customer data base experience
